Benefits of Registration

Student-led organizations encourage students to get involved at DePaul University beyond the classroom. Many benefits come from being a registered student organization at DePaul University, that are not available to unrecognized organizations or groups of individual students. Once an organization completes the registration and/or annual re-registration process they become eligible for the following benefits:

Funding

The ability to apply for funding dependent on their organization Type and Category.

Awards

Eligibility to apply for awards and honors presented to organizations at the Excellence in Leadership Awards.

OSI Resources

Eligibility to utilize OSI resources for events & programs, including inflatables, photo booths, yard games, etc.

Marketing

The ability to market their organization and events utilizing university bulletin boards, promotional tables, banners in the Lincoln Park Student Center atrium, and other means approved by the university.

Space Reservation

The ability to hold events on campus.

Access to free or reduced cost of reservations in many of the University’s facilities.

Training & Development

Access to leadership development workshops and trainings.

Involvement Fair

First-come, first-serve registration at the Involvement Fairs.

Mailboxes

The ability to obtain the use of a mailbox in OSI and have package delivery to the university.

Sponsorships

The ability to receive fundraising & corporate sponsorship support and utilize Inspire DePaul, the university’s free crowdfunding campaign process.

DePaul Trademarks

Use of university trademarks in accordance with the DePaul Licensing University Trademark Policy and affiliated guidelines.
