Advisors on Leave

When an advisor for a student organization takes a leave or sabbatical, it can present challenges and opportunities for the group. In their absence, student leaders may need to step up to take on additional responsibilities.

To ensure smooth operation, an interim advisor should be appointed no later than one month after the advisor temporarily leaves. This interim advisor can provide guidance and support, helping to fill the gap until the original advisor returns. Interim advisors should be updated on the student organization's DeHub Page as soon as they are appointed. Student organizations who do no have an advisor active on campus may lose privileges until an interim advisor is identified.
