DeHUB Event Creation Guide
Please follow the below instructions to ensure that your event is displayed properly on DeHUB as well as http://events.depaul.edu.
- Under the what section change the event name, event description and select the event type that best reflects your event.

By default the event address is always 1 E Jackson Blvd. Follow these rules for the where section to make sure your event location is listed correctly:
- - For on-campus events select on-campus then make a selection for the Building field. (Some non-building options, like the The Quad, are also available here.)
- - Using the Building option will automaticly add the right building address for your event. Do not add the address manually in the Location Name field or address section if you select a building.
- - Use the Location Name field to enter in room numbers or other important instructions. (i.e. Room 120AB near the main first floor entrance)
- - For off-campus events select off-campus then click the green Address (required for maps) link and enter the event address.
- - Use the Location Name field to enter in the building name or other important instructions if needed. (i.e. Navy Pier near the carousel entrance)
- - Always uncheck To Be Determined (TBD) under the "Where" section to make sure your event location is displayed.
Event Visibility on DeHUB and Events.DePaul.edu
- Under the Access & Display section the who can see this event option will control if your event shows up on DePaul's other event platforms. If you want your event to automatically show up on events.depaul.edu and the iDePaul app then make sure the who can see this option is set to Everyone. Everyone is the default setting so in most cases you won't have to do anything.
- If you want your event to be visible to everyone, but only show up on DeHUB then make sure the who can see this option is set to DePaul University CampusGroups users only. Your event will not be synced with events.depaul.edu or the iDePaul app and students will have to be logged into DeHUB to view the event.
- o If you want your event to be visible to only group members then make sure the who can see this option is set to Group members only. Your event will not be synced with events.depaul.edu or the iDePaul app and only group members logged into DeHUB will be able to see the event.
Event Images on DeHUB Listings
Images for DeHUB headers should be 576 x 288 px.
