Cortelyou Commons Sample Layouts

In order to assist with your event planning experience, Student Centers has developed layout templates for your event. To select a layout for your event, email the layout number and your reservation number to studentcenters@depaul.edu.

Cortelyou Commons

Originally built in 1929 and remodeled in 2006, Cortelyou Commons accommodates banquets, receptions, presentations and other large events. Cortelyou is equipped with built-in audiovisual equipment, a coatroom and an outdoor patio.

Set Up Overview
- Capacity for 160
- 16 tables with seating for 10 (can be decreased but maximum table quantity is 16; can lower chairs around tables to 8)

Cortelyou - 2.2

Set Up Overview
- SIZE OF DANCE FLOOR
- 10 tables with seating for 8 - 80 total (can be increased or decreased)

Cortelyou - 2.3

Set Up Overview
- 180 Person Capacity with Theatre Seating
- 15 rows of 12 chairs each; can be decreased but not increased
