This organization seeks to create a safer and more inclusive environment for Disabled students at DePaul University. We will achieve this with programming, advocacy work, and through the community we create together. We seek to serve Disabled students by creating a community that prioritizes the lived experience of Disabled students and by advocating for widespread accessibility and social change.

Accessible Futures DePaul works to serve and bring attention to the disabled population on campus. Accessible Futures DePaul is by disabled students for disabled students and bridges the gap between disability and campus life. We follow the Vincentian value of helping people in need and standing up for people in cases of justice. As an organization not only do we discuss disability but how that intersects with other identities and what that represents. We work to build community and destigmatize disability while promoting resilience and empathy.

The purpose of the ANKLE organization is to develop student knowledge regarding the various professions in podiatric medicine. It is designed to encourage students with the hopes of becoming of doctor of podiatric medicine and illustrate the admission process through seminars, guest speakers, workshops, and community service opportunities. All of these opportunities will effectively prepare students to enter into the podiatry school application process with substantial background knowledge of the field and opportunities available. This club will also work to improve students with the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and commitment necessary to enter medicine as a doctor of podiatry, to one day care for the healthcare needs of their patients.

Mission
The DePaul Alive Inside club draws on student interests in neuroscience, music, and service to grow meaningful community engagement with Chicago's aged population with a particular focus on brain health. Persons over the age of 65 represent the world's fastest growing population, and as societies become older, the need for effective and meaningful strategies to improve and maintain cognitive health increases. Significant evidence supports the use of music to restore brain functions, including the memory loss observed in dementia patients, especially those with Alzheimer's disease. Our club aims to raise awareness for the therapeutic value of music and the aging brain by bringing the health and wellness of music directly into Chicago-area nursing homes. Students will find a unique opportunity to explore means of using music as therapy and its healing power when prescription medicines fall short. This outreach will provide student members with the opportunity to learn and appreciate the neuroscience of health and disease, the joy and power of music, and the value of multidisciplinary approaches to problem solving.

Membership benefits of participating in Alive Inside include opportunities to practice community service through means such as volunteering at local nursing homes to explore the powerful effects of music on brain health. Students interested in the opportunity for musical performance are cordially invited to bring a musical connection between DePaul students and the community. But more importantly, students will expand their knowledge of brain health in correlation to neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer's Disease or Dementia. The Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Cultural Center is one of the four Cultural & Resource Centers at DePaul University. The APIDA Cultural Center seeks to foster belonging for APIDA-identified students by providing resources and opportunities for identity, academic, professional, and holistic development.

The center is located at the Lincoln Park Campus in O'Connell Hall, Room 340 (1036 W. Belden). No membership is required to visit and spend time in the APIDA Cultural Center! The Community Peacemakers Initiative (CPM) is a partnership between the Chicago Public Schools and DePaul University. CPM matches Peacemakers with high school teachers and their students. In the classroom, Peacemakers, in collaboration with their teacher, will facilitate a series of activities that explores the roots and systemic causes of violence, peace, and how the students can enact change. The activities culminate into a final Peace Project, where the students choose to use what they learned during the year to promote peace in their communities. Currently, CPM is only a group for enrolled students.

We are DePaul’s Main Athletic & Competitive Spirit Squad for Cheerleading & Dance. We are the official sponsored, recognized, and insured Cheer & Dance program for DePaul University. Our Athletes are part of the University Athletic Department and are recognized as the official Cheer & Dance Teams for the University.

We are seeking dedicated athletes who are ready to commit their time and training towards our 10-month program. DePaul Cheer & Dance Teams kicks-off the season in early September and concludes in April by promoting school spirit at basketball and volleyball games, tournaments, campus events, and possible national competitions. Prep for this kick off starts during the summer with summer intensive and summer camp.

Being the official Athletic Dance Team on campus comes with so many perks and benefits (travel opportunities, personal and professional training, medical staff, academic advising, Nike Sponsorships, and so much more). We promote school spirit at basketball games, traveling to tournaments in and out of state, campus events, and have the opportunity to compete nationally (NCA/UDA College Nationals). On average, a DePaul Dancer preforms at 35-45 home basketball & volleyball games. Members are required to be at every game and expected to be in town during DePaul’s six-week Winter Break and Spring Break, as this is the peak of our basketball season. DePaul Doctor Who Club is an inclusive space for fans of the British Sci-fi series Doctor Who to meet, discuss episodes, hear from guest speakers, learn about the making of the series, watch and listen to content, and discuss the series. The group also does activities related to Doctor Who like attending Chicago Tardis, visiting local businesses, and playing themed games.

The Mission of DePaul University is to provide inclusive spaces that foster a Vincentian view of personhood – that is, that every person is valuable and that every life has the capability to do good. On the surface, DePaul Doctor Who celebrates a television series that has the exact same philosophy. The Doctor believes that every life is valuable (even his enemies!) and that there is goodness in everything. As he says, “The way I see it, every life is a pile of good things and bad things. The good things don't always soften the bad things, but vice versa, the bad things don't always spoil the good things and make them unimportant.” However, the Club itself fulfills the ideals of the Vincentian mission by encouraging our members to be themselves, to express themselves however they like, and to develop a strong ethical sense of responsibility. One of the ways we do that is through volunteering at local events like Chicago TARDIS, the DePaul Pop Culture Conference, and C2e2, among others. We ask ourselves, what would the Doctor do?

Mock trial's mission is to give students early experience in legal procedures, and a comprehensive, first-hand look at what law looks like in practice. Even if students aren't interested in law specifically, skills and experiences acquired can be important for history, sociology, anthropology, political science, or other subjects that intersect with the law. Mock Trial will teach students invaluable skills that are directly applicable to their academic and personal pursuits. Students who participate gain analytical skills from analyzing cases and facts; as well as how to compose effective arguments and respond to questions or disputes. These kind of abilities are extremely useful in college-level writing and discussions in general. Mock Trial also provides students with the opportunity to develop their professionalism, confidence, and public speaking abilities, all of which are important for both future academic and occupational endeavors. Having these kinds of ability comes in handy for job interviews, class participation in the university setting, and other scenarios students may encounter.

We are DePaul PRSSA, the only public relations (PR) pre-professional group on campus, but we’re open to all communications, marketing, journalism, and advertising majors. PRSSA is helpful at any point in your college career whether you’re a freshman or senior. We host meetings and events throughout the quarter where we bring in professionals from the many disciplines of PR from non-profit to big agencies. We also host social events and agency tours where we take students directly into some of the most sought-after employers. Additionally, we have hosted PRSSA’s Midwest District Conference for more than 10 years, bringing in students from all over the country to DePaul. Overall, we are the organization for any PR major because we regularly provide educational panels, hold workshops on resumes and job applications, and also provide opportunities to network with professionals and PR peers. We do this all through socially responsible leadership and follow the Vincentian values of our institution.

DePaul PRSSA supports the development of students through avenues such as networking and professional relations through academics, and community engagement. PRSSA specifically prepares students within, but not limited to, the communication field to be successful. PRSSA upholds the ethic of the Vincentian mission's commitment to personalism and professionalism, to compassionately uphold the dignity of all members of its diverse, multi-faith, and inclusive community. For an example of how we put the mission into practice, we know that DePaul's commitment to inclusion and the development of all students means that student retention is very important. DePaul PRSSA helps with that effort. DePaul's award-winning framework, “The 4 P’s of Student Retention”, includes the pillar of “Promise” – that “all students' experiences in and out of the classroom fulfill the promise of a DePaul education.” DePaul PRSSA has helped contribute to the fulfillment of that promise with our dues-erships, alumni involvement, internship facilitating and networking/relationship building with local professionals. This includes many of the events that have been hosted on campus from May of 2023 to April of 2024. On February 22nd and 23rd, DePaul PRSSA hosted the Midwest District Conference, PRess Play. The conference utilized the spaces at the DePaul Loop Campus, which allowed 125+ students from 20 universities across the country to interact with the DePaul public relations and advertising (PRAD) program (plus 22 agencies or corporations participating in our programming – overall more than 130 professionals were involved). This raises awareness of DePaul University's graduate programs among students from other universities and heightens the reputation of DePaul's PRAD program among industry professionals. We routinely receive positive feedback on our programming and members' professionalism from participating professionals. After this year's conference, we heard anecdotally about several students applying to our College's award-winning PRAD masters program.

- Our club's purpose is to introduce new and experienced rock climbers to the Chicago and Midwest climbing community. DePaul University is deeply rooted in education, experience in the real world, and community engagement, and we feel that our organization accomplishes all three. As climbers, we strive to support one another (literally and metaphorically) both on the wall and on the ground. We take pride in the fact that even a seasoned climber can learn from someone that is new to the sport, as new climbing techniques and moves are being discovered every day. DPLC aims to educate and inform students on all aspects of selecting, applying to, and gaining admission to law school through events on topics ranging from LSAT preparation to mock law school classes by visiting professors.

Our mission is to build a year-long fundraising effort that culminates in a Dance Marathon to honor the patients and families treated at Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago and to celebrate the efforts of the DePaul University students that work to support these patients and families.

DemonTHON's main purpose is to give back to our Chicago community. We inspire DePaul students to use their time in college to give back to something bigger than themselves. Our goal is to spread the values of charity, hope, and community, which align with DePaul directly.

DePaul User Experience Association was born out of a desire to create more representation and opportunities for User Experience Design students at DePaul. While there are other inclusive CDM and STEM clubs at DePaul, none are specifically geared towards User Experience Design. User Experience Design itself is still fairly new and continues to evolve in the industry. DePaul User Experience Association brings not only DePaul undergraduate User Experience Design students, but also related majors (ex. graphic design, information technology, computer science, psychology) and User Experience enthusiasts together to better understand the current industry standards, as well as to collaborate, network, and learn from each other. DePaul User Experience Association aims to strengthen the design community. DePaul User Experience Association creates opportunities for UXD students to collaborate, network, learn, and get involved within the UX community.

DePaul Women in Business is an undergraduate student organization at DePaul University with the mission to provide female commerce students with the resources, guidance and opportunities to foster their growth and development in the field of business. DePaul Women in Business hosts a variety of events with numerous companies throughout the academic year that explore different industries and provide invaluable networking opportunities to our members. Our mission is to foster a lasting community and creative space for avant-garde filmmakers and film-lovers at DePaul University. It is the mission of the First Gen DePaul Student Organization to bring together a community of students who identify as first-generation college students at DePaul University and create spaces where students can develop connections with others who share this identity and cultivate strong leadership and future success amongst peers. Fresh Eyes is a DePaul entertainment organization involved with Fresh Eyes Radio, a show on Radio DePaul. The purpose of the radio show is to amplify and unite Muslim voices on campus through shared dialogue. The purpose of the organization is to expand beyond a simple radio show and allow for interactive events involving such discourse as well as other forms of communication through live show events, student art exhibitions, fashion displays, and storytelling. DePaul University Chapter of Global Brigades is a student led group that supports Global Brigades in the implementation of a holistic model to meet the health and economic goals of rural communities in six different countries. The purpose of the Institute of Internal Auditors at DePaul University is to
serve undergraduate and graduate students and provide them with an educational

Membership in the Chapter is open to all registered students. There are no dues for any and all members or interested members. An Active Member is a currently enrolled student at DePaul University who has attended at least 50% of the meetings of the Chapter for at least two (2) months (unless the student has been in a study abroad program, an internship, or was involved in an InterVarsity/USA chapter on a different campus). Radio DePaul is the award-winning student radio station of DePaul University. Radio DePaul can be enjoyed worldwide at radiodepaul.com and The Radio DePaul App. The station broadcasts from the basement of University Hall on the Lincoln Park Campus. On a day-to-day basis, the station is led by a group of paid student leaders and student staff volunteers. Senior Professional Lecturer Scott Vyverman is the station’s liaison with the College of Communication and serves as the station’s faculty manager. Radio DePaul is not only an educational tool for students interested in pursuing careers in media, but it also serves the DePaul community by promoting university services, groups, and activities. We seek to entertain and inform our audience through innovative and consistent music and non-music programming.

The primary purpose of the Vincent G. Rinn Law Library is to support the teaching and research functions of the DePaul College of Law and other DePaul University community researchers who need to use legal materials. The Vincent G. Rinn Law Library is located at DePaul University's downtown campus in Chicago. Housed within the Lewis Building on the 5th floor, you can enter the building from either Jackson Boulevard or South Wabash Avenue. The library occupies the 4th through 6th floors, with the entrance on the 5th floor. There is an internal staircase and elevators to get to the other floors. Although the library doors are normally closed, access is granted by swiping a current DePaul ID (issued to DePaul students, faculty, staff, alumni, and retirees) or by ringing the doorbell on the wall (for public patron / visitor access). Public patrons / visitors will be expected to show a valid government issued photo ID and sign-in upon entry to the law library. All public patrons will be expected to adhere to general library polices and procedures in addition to guidelines for public patron / visitor library usage.

Reference Librarians are available to assist patrons with finding and using materials in the law library. Please note that although the reference librarians will assist users who need information, a reference librarian will NOT research or interpret the law for any patron.

Due to space limitations, public access to the Law Library may be restricted during exam/study periods.

The Vietnamese Club at DePaul University seeks to promote a deeper understanding, appreciation, and celebration of Vietnamese culture among participants and the larger university community. To do so, our club has a threefold mission:
Cultural celebration: to honor and celebrate Vietnam’s rich heritage through culturally oriented events, festivals, and traditional holidays. We seek to provide an avenue for students of Vietnamese descent, and others interested in Vietnamese culture, to come together and express their cultural identity in a way that fosters pride and continuity of the culture.
Education: To enhance the academic and social experience of our participants, we offer Vietnamese language classes and workshops, as well as information on other aspects of Vietnamese culture, including history, art, and food. We will also discuss relevant modern-day topics, promoting academic achievement and cultural competence, by expanding the global mindset of student members
Wellness and Mental Health Resources: Provide resources and workshops on mental health, stress management, and self-care, with a focus on addressing the unique challenges international students might face, especially Vietnamese students. Partnering with campus wellness centers to ensure international students have access to culturally sensitive support services is key.
