Updates from the Councils!
This section will provide an opportunity for our 4 Governing Councils to provide community wide updates of things they are working on throughout the Quarter.
Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) :
MGC has just wrapped up our MGC week! We started off the week by attending Vincentian Service Day with our respective organizations. We then hosted our annual Neo workshop that informs and welcomes all of our new members into our council. We also hosted an Arts and Crafts night which was meant to relieve stress after midterms as well as a Mocktail night that encourages interaction and unity between all of our organizations. Moving forward we are hosting our annual Crystal Awards that celebrate each organization and its accomplishments while also congratulating all graduating seniors that have dedicated their time to MGC. If you have any general questions or want to connect, reach out to Valentina “Aria” Cruz #123, Interim President of MGC at mgcpresident.depaul@gmail.com.
Interfraternity Council (IFC):
The IFC is currently setting up a recruitment roundtable. We will be getting each chapters recruitment chairs in an effort to improve our upcoming recruitment process. We will begin planning for Fall recruitment. Next community meeting will be held on May 20th. Chapters must have one representative at least attend. We are also still in the process of gathering marketing materials from each chapter. They are due on May 16th through the google form we sent out earlier. If anyone has any questions, they can always contact ifc@depaul.edu.
National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC):
Many of our Council's leadership attended AFLV Central featuring the National Black Greek Leadership Conference in early February. Our chapters have been busy this quarter with various community service events, hosting Founder's weeks and game nights, and preparing for Spring Quarter. For more information about NPHC, people can reach out to nphc@depaul.edu.
Panhellenic Council (PHC):
Panhellenic is currently working on getting funding to send women from Panhel to AFLV! We are also gearing up for recruitment next fall. We Just wrapped up Panhel love week and concluded it with Badge Day Tea. We had an amazing turnout and loved spending time with all the chapters! There are a lot of philanthropy weeks currently happening for Panhellenic sororities and the money they are raising for such good causes! You can reach out to Panhellenic at DePaul.panhel@gmail.com!

RESOURCE:
FSL DeHUB Website
We have just updated our FSL DeHUB website. This website was created to provide chapters with a one stop shop for all things you may need for FSL as a member or an officer. The website has information on overviews of our councils, a resource page for FSL forms & surveys (which is linked on the side) as well as a helpful resource page for things such as SAF-B and CAF-B funding, catering from chartwells, and more. Save the links to your computers or devices and reference them as often as you'd like!
Just a reminder- each FSL Chapter has a locker in the Schmidt Academic Center (SAC) paid for by FSL. This is where your chapter can place items for tabling, your FSL chapter table cloth, and other things the chapter needs to store. If you need to be reminded of your locker # and combination, please email FSL at fsl@depaul.edu and we can provide you with that information.
Update: Please empty your SAC Chapter lockers by June 6, 2025 (this is required from Student Centers every summer for locker cleaning). FSL will hold on to your FSL Chapter table clothes and dry clean them over the summer so please do not take those with you.
Any questions, please email fsl@depaul.edu
