Get to Know Your FSL Leaders!
This section will feature different leaders in our FSL Community.
Name: Cooper Linkey Year at DePaul: Junior Organization: Sigma Alpha Epsilon Current Leadership Role: Chapter President Favorite thing about DePaul: My favorite thing about DePaul is easily the location. Chicago is a wonderful city with an endless number of things to discover. Why you joined FSL: DePaul is a great school, but with our campus being integrated within the city, it can be a challenge to meet other students with similar interests. This fraternity gave me the opportunity to meet many other students with aspirations and interests which are similar to my own. Why you chose to be a leader in FSL: I was told by past leaders in ΣΑΕ that I would be a great fit for our executive board. I decided to run for a position about 2 years ago, and now I am almost done with my term on our exec-board as president.

Updates from the Councils!
This section will provide an opportunity for our 4 Governing Councils to provide community wide updates of things they are working on throughout the Quarter.
Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) :
Currently, MGC is working to rebuild how our council operates, with the goal of elevating our professionalism, and prestige. By doing so we hope to empower and encourage the members of our council to increase multicultural fraternity and sorority visibility on campus. While we are still in the process of developing and reforming our ideas, we have made many small strides toward this goal. We will be hosting MGC Jeaopordy on March 12! Our next General Assembly is March 6. If you have any general questions or want to connect, reach out to Shayla Garcia via email mgcpresident.depaul@gmail.com.
Interfraternity Council (IFC):
The IFC is currently focusing on administrative tasks, such as overlooking bylaws for the coming Spring Quarter. If anyone has any questions, they can always contact ifc@depaul.edu.
National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC):
Many of our Council's leadership attended AFLV Central featuring the National Black Greek Leadership Conference in early February. Our chapters have been busy this quarter with various community service events, hosting Founder's weeks and game nights, and preparing for Spring Quarter. For more information about NPHC, people can reach out to nphc@depaul.edu.
Panhellenic Council (PHC):
Panhellenic is currently working on updating the bylaws to help ensure greater understanding in the community. They are also brainstorming ways to make general body meetings more interactive to get more delegates and members to engage with one another! There are a lot of philanthropy weeks currently happening for Panhellenic sororities and the money they are raising for such good causes! The next General Body meeting is Monday the 24th and the next Executive Board meeting is Wednesday the 26th! You can reach out to Panhellenic at DePaul.panhel@gmail.com!
