The Drag Teach-In is open to those who are interested in learning more about drag and who can potentially see themselves performing one day! The performers and speakers will exhibit their craft, talent, and experience, while also opening the floor to mentorship and community. The Drag Teach-In will be a safe and sober environment for students to explore drag and a perfect opportunity for students interested in participating in DePaul’s spring drag show to workshop ideas, get feedback, and gain confidence from experienced performers. With continued attacks on Drag Story Times at libraries and anti-LGBTQIA+ legislation proposed across the U.S, the University Library is proud to co-sponsor this event alongside the LGBTQ Studies Program, the American Studies Program, and the Honors Program.
