About Us

We, the DePaul Students for Socialist Revolution, are an organization of like-minded students who want to make a positive impact on our campus community. We believe that in order to change the world for the better, we must first understand it, and for that reason we are dedicated to the study of Marxist theory and using it to analyze history, contemporary society and even our own communities. DePaul Students for Socialist Revolution declares its intention to educate interested students in Marxist theory and increase the participation of college students in progressive causes. To this end, the DePaul Students for Socialist Revolution shall educate DePaul Students about the fundamentals, history, and application of Marxist theory, through regular meetings, public discussions, and occasional guest speakers.
