About Us
Rohingya as a part of DePaul Community Service Association provides students with service opportunities to communities in need, while encouraging students to develop their sense of purpose in light of their service involvement. Inspired by the examples of St. Vincent de Paul and Louise de Marillac, students will be engaged in direct service, advocacy, and consciousness raising, while working towards building a more just society. Through reflection, students will find a safe place to examine questions of social justice related to Rohingya. We hope to become culturally competent and advocates for refugee rights as we form friendships with the Rohingya community.
