Academic Continuity and Engagement (ACE) works to support undergraduate students in their academic goals, success, and retention. This is accomplished through peer support programs, strategic communication, data-informed interventions, programs, events, and services. The office collaborates with key university and external partners to provide services, resources and programs that address the specific needs of our students.

The Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Cultural Center is one of the four Cultural & Resource Centers at DePaul University. The APIDA Cultural Center seeks to foster belonging for APIDA-identified students by providing resources and opportunities for identity, academic, professional, and holistic development.

The center is located at the Lincoln Park Campus in O'Connell Hall, Room 340 (1036 W. Belden). No membership is required to visit and spend time in the APIDA Cultural Center! It is open to all students during open hours to study, eat, engage in discussions, and be with community. The Cultural & Resource Centers are open:
- Mondays to Thursdays, 9:00AM - 7:00PM
- Fridays, 9:00AM - 5:00PM

The Arnold Mitchem Fellows Program serves first-generation, low-income, and underrepresented sophomores planning to attend graduate, medical, or law school. Participation in the program is an academic, writing-intensive, yearlong commitment.

Membership Benefits
• Access to AMF research classes (2-credits per quarter – fall, winter, spring)
• $1,500 AMF Scholarship
• Financial assistance for professional conferences, service-learning trips, and study abroad
• Mentorship and assistance with applying to local and national internships and research experiences

Mission
The Center for Latino Research (CLR) strives to open and sustain dialogues which foster the empowerment and advancement of Latinx communities. To that end, the CLR creates learning opportunities for students and supports scholars in their research, while forging collaborative relationships with local, national, and international research partners.

We also publish an award-winning scholarly journal, Diálogo, and sponsor many activities on campus, including film series and speaker series.

As student-run organizations, club sports provide an opportunity for students with common interests to participate and compete in a variety of activities. Students build their skills in competition and community building while participating in instructional or performance based activities that promote physical activity.

DePaul University offers over 25 different club sports. Clubs are open to current DePaul University students of any skill level and offer the opportunity to learn an activity or compete with other colleges throughout the state, region, and country.

In addition, our resources help students gain and develop confident learning skills and strategies. Mission
The Community Peacemakers Initiative (CPM) is a partnership between the Chicago Public Schools and DePaul University. CPM matches Peacemakers with high school teachers and their students. In the classroom, Peacemakers, in collaboration with their teacher, will facilitate a series of activities that explores the roots and systemic causes of violence, peace, and how the students can enact change. The activities culminate into a final Peace Project, where the students choose to use what they learned during the year to promote peace in their communities. Currently, CPM is only a group for enrolled students.
