Subject: Graduating Members: Reserve an AFD Honor Cord!

AFD's horizontal logo in purple.

Congratulations, graduating members of AFD!

As Spring Quarter is rapidly approaching, I wanted to reach out to get a head count on how many of our members are graduating Class of 2023.

While AFD is not an honor society, we are offering honor cords to graduating members.  Our student organization is special in that we are deeply committed to recognizing the contributions of all members.  We appreciate that Disabled students, student caregivers, and many other marginalized students cannot meet the strict criteria to be involved in traditional honor societies due to access barriers.  Regardless of how you've been involved in AFD, your support in building an inclusive, accessible community has been crucial.

Your accomplishments are worth celebrating.

We are still figuring out logistics, but are committed to working with folks and making sure every graduating member that wants a cord will get one!  If you are interested in receiving an honor cord from AFD, please fill out this formhttps://forms.gle/i9rPxzn75JPcVJceA

On a personal note, it's been an honor to co-create this community with you, and I'm excited to proudly wear my AFD cord alongside you at commencement.

Sending my best as always,
Gwenyth True, Co-President
Class of 2023 (!!!)
