FSL Senior Sign Off 

We want to celebrate our amazing FSL seniors for their contributions to our FSL community! Join FSL Wednesday, May 15th, in the 1898 Lounge from 5-7 PM to celebrate our seniors! There will be some sweet treats, a photobooth set up, and cards to write farewell messages to FSL seniors! 

National Pan-Hellenic Council Charter Ceremony


On Tuesday May 7th, the National Pan-Hellenic Council at DePaul University will officially be receiving their Charter! Come celebrate this amazing accomlishment with DePaul's National Pan-Hellenic Council at 6pm in STU 120 AB on May 7th! Make sure to come in business attire and register at the link below!

Excellence in Leadership Awards Announcement!

Be on the lookout for the announcement of the FSL Excellence in Leadership Awards winners! We are so excited to honor these amazing members of our community!

We are hiring!
 

The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life is looking for a new FSL Specialist! Here is some information about the role:

Job Title: Fraternity and Sorority Life Specialist
Hours: 15 hours per week (during the academic year)

Principle Responsibilities:
  • Attend weekly one-on-one meetings with supervisor and bi-weekly FSL team meetings
  • Understand and explain OSI and DePaul event directives and policies
  • Communicate beginning/end of quarter responsibilities to all chapters/ councils
  • Keep the FSL Contact Sheet up to date and accessible to FSL leaders
  • Maintain the FSL DeHUB Resource Page
  • Monitor and respond appropriately to the fsl@depaul.edu email inbox
  • Plan FSL community-wide socials and service events
  • Market FSL communication and events via FSL social media pages
Qualifications:
  • Full time enrollment at DePaul University required
  • Must be able to work a full academic year (September 2024 - June 2025)
  • Preferred: Be an affiliated member of a fraternity or sorority organization
  • According to the Office of Student Employment, student employees are only allowed to work no more than 25 hours at the University during the Academic Year.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to positively interact with students, OSI staff, and FSL staff
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Ability to work in a flexible and dynamic environment
  • Collaborate with FSL community members, OSI staff, and campus partners
  • Able to communicate effectively with professionalism to staff, faculty, alumni, students, and community partners
Compensation:
• Hourly rate: $17.00 / hour (non-negotiable)

Counseling Services Offered by UCAPS:

  • Free, goal-focused, collaborative, short-term, confidential, individual, and group counseling services for DePaul students.
  • Brief Screening & Consultations (BSC) over the phone.
  • Drop-in Emergent Care Services during office hours (Monday to Friday, 10 am to 4 pm).
  • Collaboration with faculty, staff, family, and friends who want to support student care.
  • Psychoeducational workshops and presentations for a variety of topics including adaptive coping skills, stress management, effective communication, relationships, time management, mindfulness, etc.
  • Assistance with community-based referrals for therapy and psychiatry services.

 

UCAPS is something that is open year-round, except for weekends and university holidays.
