The mission of the Student Organization of Afghanistan at DePaul (SOAD) is to serve as a source to celebrate Afghanistan's culture, bring communities and unity together through small gatherings, and organize cultural-religious events to exchange ideas, support our communities, create networks and spread awareness about women’s struggles in Afghanistan.
Membership in the Student Organization of Afghanistan at DePaul (SOAD) offers numerous benefits, including opportunities to engage with Afghan culture, participate in cultural and religious events and contribute to discussions on important social issues. SOAD offers great opportunities to get involved with the Afghan rich culture and members gain access to a supportive network that fosters professional, social, and academic growth while promoting inclusivity and a sense of belonging. SOAD also provides leadership and networking opportunities, allowing members to build connections and develop valuable skills.
