About Us
Kesem at DePaul is committed to providing free support and programming to children affected by a parent’s cancer in Chicago and the Chicago-land area. Kesem at DePaul is affiliated with Kesem National, a national 501c3 nonprofit organization. We achieve our mission through collaborations with local nonprofits, schools, and community groups, as well as sponsorships and donations from external donors and community partners. We seek the support of student volunteers and leaders to facilitate tasks and goals assigned to the chapter by Kesem National and as per the needs of our community. Additionally, we work closely with our participants and participant families. We believe in creating a supportive and welcoming community for our volunteers and participants.
