Flowering Crabapples in the Quad

The flowering crabapples on the Lincoln Park Campus are among the more than 600 trees inventoried by DePaul students in a class on urban forests as social-ecological systems. The data helped earn a Tree Campus USA recognition from the Arbor Day Foundation (Photo credit: Randall Spriggs, DePaul University).

CommuniTree plantings in NW Indiana

Ginkgo leaves are one of a kind! Literally- Ginkgo biloba is the only living species of its order. It's a living fossil (very cool), its leaf is actually a modified needle (also cool) and it can be taken as a supplement for many health benefits (the coolest) ├░┼©┼Æ┬┐├░┼©╦£┬ì
