Do you navigate life via the experiences of Black womanhood? Are you looking for community with individuals who share your identities? If so, Aya United may be the program for you!

This winter, the Black Cultural Center is launching its pilot quarter of Aya United. Aya United is a peer support group for Black woman and those who Black womanhood is imposed upon. This group is open to genderqueer and nonbinary folks who experience Black womanhood due to external perceptions.

This circle-style group will serve as a space for individuals to share their experiences, learn from each other, and build community. Throughout this 6-week program, we will engage in important topics such as self-confidence, mental health, colorism, and sexuality.
