Spike Out Arthritis: Alpha Omicron Pi's Philanthropy

This February, Alpha Omicron Pi from the Delta Rho chapter at DePaul University is promoting and managing our annual fundraising event Spike Out Arthritis. On February 24th, 2023, we will be hosting a volleyball tournament in which proceeds will directly impact programs benefiting the Arthritis Foundation.

Millions of people live with the pain of arthritis every day, and it is the number one cause of disability. There are more than 50 million adults that have arthritis, which is 1:5 people over the age of 18. There are almost 300,000 children with Juvenile Arthritis, which is 1:250 children. Arthritis plays no favorites. It affects men, women and children indiscriminately.
