Perspective

As you navigate through law school, we want you to keep in mind the struggles women have faced and are still facing today. Women in places such as Afghanistan are fighting for basic rights to education and work, Iran has brutally enforced compulsory hijab laws upon women, Russia and Turkey are walking back domestic violence protections, and we've seen reproductive rights taken away in the U.S.

As much progress has been made, the protection of women's basic human rights is an ongoing struggle. WBA stands with all women and we hope to continue to bring these injustices to the forefront in our organizational efforts.
