Join us to explore what goes on in the world of magazine writing: What makes a compelling feature story? What goes into building the connections for a feature? How do you engage your audience for a longer story?

Professional lecturer Amy Merrick will join us as a guest; she serves as the faculty advisor for DePaul's 14 East Magazine, and she is a former staff reporter for the Wall Street Journal who's work has been featured in The New Yorker and The Atlantic.
