Amy Funk, Senior Vice President, TWB Fundraising

Amy Funk brings over two decades of high-energy, results-driven nonprofit leadership to her clients. She helps nonprofits refine their mission-driven storytelling, maximize their revenue, ensure that infrastructure is in place for capacity building, and source the right talent. She has a passion for reinventing processes and has worked in organizations with budgets ranging from $1.2 million to $40 million in the performing arts, healthcare, and human services fields. Recent clients include the YMCA of Metropolitan Washington, The Chicago School of Psychology, Meals on Wheels of Northern Illinois, and Friends of Lakeshore State Park.
Amy has a Bachelor of Arts in History from Millikin University and earned a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Management, with distinction, from DePaul University. Mentoring development professionals is a key passion of hers, and she serves on the Peer Mentoring Committee of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) Chicago Chapter and DePaul University’s Alumni Engagement Committee, School of Public Service. In 2022, Amy joined the AFP Chicago Board of Directors. During her tenure there, she launched one of the first Neurodiverse Fundraising Affinity Groups in the United States and currently co-chairs the AFP Fellows.

Ahmadou Dramé, Director, Illinois Justice Project
Ahmadou Dramé was promoted to Director of the Illinois Justice Project (ILJP) in June 2023 after serving as Program Director for two years. Throughout his career, he has increased awareness about the injustices of the criminal legal system, empowered people and communities impacted by mass incarceration and homelessness, and advocated to reduce society’s reliance on the criminal legal system as a response to racial, economic, and social inequities. Prior to joining ILJP, he was Housing and Community Development Policy Manager at the Metropolitan Planning Council, Director of Policy and Advocacy at Safer Foundation, and a community organizer on the west side of Chicago. He serves on several boards and commissions, including: the Albert Pick, Jr. Fund, the Illinois Criminal Justice Information Authority Board and Chair of its Budget Committee, the Illinois Affordable Housing Trust Fund Advisory Commission, the Cook County Equity Fund Task Force, the Illinois Judicial Conference Committee on Improving Policy and Practices Governing Judicial Branch Requests for Information, and the DePaul University School for Public Service Advisory Council. He is a 2023 Leadership Greater Chicago Fellow. Ahmadou earned his bachelor’s degree in political science and master’s degree in public administration from DePaul University.
