Advisors will be able to recognize common types of crises within student organizations and assess the advisor’s role in both prevention and response, including how to effectively apply the Campus Security Authority (CSA) framework.
2.. Implement Effective Communication and Response Protocols:
Advisors will be able to outline clear crisis communication strategies, manage sensitive information appropriately, and coordinate effectively with university resources during a crisis.
3. Support Recovery and Resilience Post-Crisis:
Advisors will be able to utilize university and community resources to guide student organizations through recovery, rebuild organizational trust, and practice self-care during high-stress advisory situations.
