Building Your Professional Network workshop with Geoff Nyheim

Having strong professional relationship-building and networking skills is an increasingly critical capability. Relationship networks often lead to your first job out of college and will influence how you advance and transition throughout your professional career. However, many people, of all ages and experience levels, find networking mysterious and intimidating. This interactive session will:

1. Help you understand what networking is and why it is essential to you.
2. Provide you with practical tips and resources to enhance your networking skills.
3. Create a safe space to share experiences and best practices with others.
4. Leave you with an action plan and increased confidence towards incremental, continuous improvement.

Geoff Nyheim, a former leader at Microsoft and Amazon and current instructor in the Department of Marketing, will lead this session and share insights, recommendations, and feedback.
