About Us

The core purpose of the DMC is to assist the development and enrichment of the DePaul math community. The members and leadership should be pillars of care and support in academic and emotional settings for the students and faculty in and outside of DePaul. This means taking special care to provide a variety of accessible, reliable, organized spaces with explicit consideration to the deconstructions of racism, anti-queer prejudice, religion-based prejudice, class barriers, indigenous exclusion, misogyny, ableism, xenophobia, and any other form of prejudice or elitism. The DMC supports DePaul University's commitment to fostering diverse communities and forming meaningful connections among individuals and groups.
