  • About Me

Heidi is originally from the Chicagoland area. She has a strong interest in understanding how strategy, creativity, and communication come together in business. She has been playing the violin since the age of nine, and music has been a major part of her life and personal growth. Through years of performing, ensemble participation, and mentorship, she has developed discipline, confidence, and leadership skills. Heidi has also taught and mentored younger violin students, which strengthened her patience and ability to communicate effectively. Outside of academics and work, she enjoys content creation, exploring the city, walking around Chicago, and spending time with her friends and family.

  • Professional Experience

Heidi currently serves as Vice President of Marketing for DePaul Consulting Group, where she manages the organization’s social media and helps create marketing strategies to increase engagement and involvement. In this role, she plans content, maintains consistent branding, and promotes events and initiatives. She also works at Ulta Beauty as a Beauty Advisor, where she provides strong customer service, recommends products based on individual needs, and supports featured products and promotions while assisting a diverse customer base, including Spanish-speaking guests. Previously, Heidi worked as a Social Media Marketing Intern at Tres Jolie Medical Spa, where she supported Dr. Perez’s personal social media page by creating content, researching trends, and helping grow engagement across Instagram and TikTok. Through her experience across multiple retail roles, she has developed strong communication skills and a solid foundation in customer service and relationship-building.

  • Future Aspirations

After graduation, Heidi hopes to pursue a career in consulting, marketing strategy, or a client-facing business role that blends analytical thinking with creativity. She is particularly interested in working in environments that value collaboration, problem-solving, and continuous learning. In the long run, she aspires to work in a strategic role where she can make a meaningful impact, grow professionally, and continue learning from diverse teams and mentors.
