Mission
The mission of UPE is to recognize academic excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels in the Computing and Information Disciplines. (https://upe.cdm.depaul.edu)

Since Upsilon Pi Epsilon is a National Honor Society, and this is DePaul University Chapter, it is fitting it say that Upsilon Pi Epsilon lives out the mission of DePaul University by carrying out the motto of the University’s Credo, “I will show you the way of wisdom”. Through this motto, by recognizing the students’ scholastic achievements, this honor society is rewarding them for the wisdom they have gained through their academic discipline they held throughout school and has finally been recognized for student who have excelled in the Computing and Information Disciplines at the Jarvis College of Computing and Digital Media.

Membership Benefits
NOTE: When you join the DeHUB group of the Upsilon Pi Epsilon (UPE) Honor Society, unfortunately you are not considered an official member of UPE.

To be considered an official member of this International Honor Society, you must be invited by an invitation through the school. This invitation is sent out to students based on their academic standing. Listed below are the requirements:

-Undergraduate Students
------> 69 credit hours completed
------> GPA of 3.5/4.0

-Graduate Students
------> 24 credit hours completed
------> GPA of 3.75/4.0
