Curious about what to do with an previously written essay? Are you interested in presenting your research at a national conference? The Center for Black Diaspora invites you to a attend an information session for the upcoming 2027 National Council for Black Studies. This informational session will cover: (1) Background into the conference and how the Center participates each year; (2) Insight into what research is accepted; (3) Instructions on how to complete the Center's application. *Virtual Registration is required.*

The Center for Black Diaspora has upgraded it's art; and we invite our community to participate in it's unwrapping ceremony. Please join us on October 7th for an art collection unveiling and discussion with its creator, Christopher White of the Sunroom Wellness Studio. The Center will have light treats and small performance accompanied with tabling support from student artists and organizations. This event is open to DePaul faculty, staff, and students. Space is limited, RSVP is required.
