The Center for Black Diaspora invites students to apply to present at the 49th Annual NCBS conference!
We need your help supporting the various, robust scholarship of our students at DePaul. The Center for Black Diaspora will host a group of students by representing a panel of their research. This initiative will allow students the opportunity to showcase their academic work and receive the confidence in their field of study.
In 2025, the National Council for Black Studies (NCBS) will celebrate its 50th Anniversary as an organization, along with the life and legacy of Dr. Terry Kershaw, March 19th through March 22nd in Cincinnati, Ohio. This year’s theme “Sankofa: Celebrating Solidarity, Power, and Pan-Africanism in the 21st Century,” allows us to reflect upon the foundation of the organization while honoring the institutional legacy created for future generations of Black scholars.
