Ryan focuses his practice on a broad range of corporate matters with a primary focus on private equity transactions and mergers & acquisitions. He has experience in a variety of industries, both in the private and public sectors, on transactions ranging from US$10M to US$4.5B.



Before joining Winston, Ryan participated in Northwestern Pritzker School of Law’s Entrepreneurship Clinic, gaining valuable experience working directly with clients on a variety of corporate matters. Before law school, Ryan was an Associate Portfolio Manager at Great Lakes Advisors – Wintrust Wealth Management in Chicago.

Therese (Tess) focuses her practice on private equity fund formation and management.

Tess is a funds associate in the Chicago office. She focuses her practice on advising private equity sponsors in connection with the formation, structuring, marketing and operation of private investment funds, as well as the operational, legal and regulatory issues faced by sponsors and institutional investors.

Charlie focuses his practice on corporate and finance transactions.

Before joining Winston, Charlie completed a fellowship with the Public Interest Law Initiative (PILI) at the Loyola University Chicago Business Law Clinic, where he gained valuable experience working with entrepreneurs and non-profits on a variety of corporate matters. Before law school, he served as a Teaching Fellow with the University of Notre Dame’s Alliance for Catholic Education (ACE).
